a spontaneous trip

dear sir / madam,

i am writing to inform you of this terrible blazing flood................

no not really we're just here blogging again...

a day not too long ago but back in the days of freedom that were the holidays, Sammy surprised Cara and gave a spontaneous invitation to go on a car trip to the wonderful historic town of Castlemaine (maybe not wonderful, but whatever tickles your fancy). off they went ended up at the beautiful Hannah's house.

from there the duo continued not wanting to head home and end the adventure. they went forth to the not so greater city of Ballarat. there in the thirteen degree coldness and frosty weather they embarked on the new challenge of staying warm. New World/Bi Lo/ Coles did not supply the much needed resources. Therefore the Ballarat dance was born....

this dance consists of running in circles while crying 'IT'S COLD, IT'S COLD!'

a brief general meeting was had with SU foot man Travis before setting on the glorious journey home while wondering which of Gods creatures would be encountered on the way home...

while asking God not to strike a kangaroo we almost found a cow on the front of the car in the dark. we were innocently driving along minding our own little business when out of no where a great herd of cows were casually taking up the WHOLE ROAD. they looked evil in the light of the car. it was rather scary...

we also found an owl, a fox, and a rather large ditch in the middle of the main street in Castlemaine....

on the whole the day/night was rather exciting.

you missed out!

home?

On Monday a wonderful day, with the accompaniment of Mr Lukas Nice Feet, Sammy toddled off to meet Cara at the airport. Victoria, the garden state, was going to be blessed by the graceful return of Cara. flying home in an aircraft is an adventure in itself little did we all know what would happen on the way home....

innocently the trio boarded a bus, unbeknown to them what would happen on the way to the train station. this bus driver had already not had a run of good luck on this day and his day was not going to be much better with this journey. a detour was to be had due to an unfortunate accident resulting in a U-turn for the bus. not an easy maneuver to be done in a bus at the best of times. on this occasion there was a median strip in the way with a ditch... needless to say the bus was bogged, we were stuck. a tow-truck was on the order. the front of the bus was not in good order after such an activity.

from there things did not go much better for the bus driver. on this innocent journey. the bus then met with a cars' side mirror on a roundabout, this was not a planned meeting...

as a result of these unfortunate occurrences the train passed by uz as we arrived at the train station...

as i'm sure you are wondering, this stunning trio did make it home safely.... eventually. chocolate and milkshakes did help provide the energy and patience required.

welcome

because we seem to find ourselves in many 'situations', we (being Sammy and Cara) have decided to keep a record of our experiences in the unknown.

these adventures we have learned lots through and blogging will give us a chance to laugh and learn with you the blogging world!

hope you enjoy this as much as we do...

With much love,

Sammy and Cara
